Converting FLV to MP3 using ffmpeg

Here’s the simple trick to convert FLV to MP3, by extracting the audio and encoding it to mp3 using ffmpeg.

ffmpeg -i “mysource.flv” -acodec libmp3lame -ac 2 -ab 128 -vn -y output.mp3

-ab ### - the audio bitrate
--acodec libmp3lame (opensuse) the output media format

Done.
